This has been a great travel trailer for us. We downsized from a Class C 28’ for a more ease of use option. This has been perfectly easy to pull anywhere with our truck. The aerodynamic design allows it to cut through the wind with minimal resistance. Our reason for selling is that we just don’t use it enough. These days we’ve decided that we enjoy going on cruises rather than going camping. So it stands to reason that we pass this good girl on to someone else.
You can easily enjoy camping trip after camping trip with this single slide out Comet Mini 18DS travel trailer. The unique rear kitchen features plenty of counter space which is ideal for meal prep. You can enjoy your meals or a card game or two at the u-dinette which at night easily converts into additional sleeping space for your kids or a guest. Mom and dad can get a good night’s rest on the front queen bed. Ice cold A/C for those hot summer days and nights or great heater for keeping you warm in chilly or cold weather camping. All of your camping gear can easily be stored in the exterior storage compartments, and with the 9′ power awning you can enjoy time visiting with family and friends while being protected from the sun or in the evening enjoy illumination from the LED strip that runs the length of the awning.
When the outdoors is calling your name you will want a Comet Mini travel trailer! This model features a one-piece seamless fiberglass roof as well as fiberglass roof insulation. There are nitro-filled tires for a smoother ride as well as electric brakes. With the exterior speakers you can easily have your favorite music playing while you are relaxing outside. Equipped with Sugar Maple cabinets as well as a command center with centrally located switches, that give a reading for battery, black water, gray water, and fresh water tanks. Also controls for all lights, slide control, awning power, WI-FI Extender, Water heater heating options. The mattress is plush so you can get the rest that you desire! Additionally we have added a few items to make life a bit easier/convenient when you camp. In the kitchen area, we installed a paper towel holder, a net pouch caddy against the wall for pot holders, a 2-way push/pull aerator on the faucet for either straight stream or spray. In the bathroom we replaced the shower/bathroom caddy with a larger Mesh Shower Caddy/ Organizer that can accommodate more shower items, towels and toiletries. On the shower floor we installed a Loofah non slip quick drying mat that can always stay down. By the entrance door we’ve installed hooks for keys and holders for broom and dust pan. On the outside of the bathroom door we added hooks for coats, caps, or hoodies. We’ve added a wall clock for easy time telling. The dinky TV has been replace with a Vizio 24” model. I ordered and installed the proper parts to connect to the Furrion DVD player. Now it is easier to enjoyably watch DVDs or you can load movies or media onto a USB drive and plug that into the back of the TV to watch that content. The TV is mounted onto a movable mount to allow you to watch TV in bed or swing it around to watch TV from the dinette. The dinette converts into a bed. The table mounts in place to become half the bed. Initially the mounts for the table were about 2 inches too low and did not make for an even bed. I raised those mount so that now the bed is level and easier to sleep on. On the outside I have install metal hard mesh cover over the heater exhaust so no insects can climb in and build any nests.
The trailer will include hose for black and gray water discharge. A fresh water hose with filter and 40lb pressure regulator. Also, long pigtail connector with adapters for 30amp, 50amp and 110v connections. There is a tool for raising and lowering the leveling jacks.
