We are dropping our price for Black Friday!
We will run this sale through Cyber Monday.
The current posted price is our limited offer sale price.
We are offering for sale our 2016 Moby 1 XTR (60” wide package) Overland Trailer. Everything you need to live off grid in the backcountry is on this trailer but for linen, cutlery and your personal belongings.
VIN 1M9M1TXR0GS924048
The trailer is “turn-key” ready for your adventures!
We are the original owner of the trailer.
I have a clean title for the vehicle.
The trailer is located in Boise, Idaho.
We are asking $13,000.00 or best offer. Payment will be by bank wire transfer or, if you are local, it will be in person at a bank. I can take the trailer to a easier location for a transporter to pick it up. but the buyer will need to make shipping arrangements.
The trailer has approximately 39,113 on the body but only approximately 17,257 on the suspension. We replaced the original Moby designed 3,500 lb axle in January 2021 with a Timbren 5,200 lb axle. This swap was done by Vorsheer.
We have never experienced any leaking through any of the numerous storms we have experienced.
The sleeping area heater’s thermostat does not register internal cabin temperatures and thus the heater requires you to manually shut it off to adjust cabin temperatures.
I have maintained a detailed trip-milage log for the trailer since we bought it.
The UWS storage box on the roof is keyed with Bolt Toolbox Latch Lock to our Toyota Tundra. You will need to rekey this latch.
In 2024, while traversing the New Mexico Backcountry Discovery Route, we had a catastrophic failure of the roof basket’s original mounting legs. To this day, I don’t know what happened to cause the failure. Once one of the six support legs failed, the system collapsed. When we got home, I had the basket redesigned with a new leg/mounting system by a local fabricator in Boise. See photos. The basket now sits on three boxed legs and rests on the top of the roof instead of mounted to the side walls.
Over the last nine years we have made several modifications to the trailer.
If a buyer is interested in a pre-purchase inspection, I am happy to facilitate that by driving the trailer to a local Boise garage of your choosing.
The standard equipment for the trailer can be seen in the images but I can provide a complete list to any potential buyer. I will list our modifications, improvements and accessories that are included in this sale:
