Offering a 1963 24 foot Avion Holiday, fully restored from the frame up. It was a 3 year project and worth every minute of it. We chose to keep her retro – much as she would have been in her glory days. 

She has been stored under cover from the time we got her home. 

Birch cabinets were removed and fully refinished. Flooring deck was removed and replaced with 3/4” marine plywood. An appropriate looking vinyl tile was used on the floor throughout. 

The bathroom was worked through and a lovely white porcelain toilet replaced the harvest gold recycling toilet. 

All original cabinets were reinstalled along with the original pink double sink and fully functioning pink Princess stove. 
The vent fan over the stove was rewound and painted in white porcelain. It works like a charm. 

Twin bed decks were rebuilt over the original under bed cabinets. I reupholstered the original boxsprings and we had new mattresses made by a boat outfitter in Florida.  Really nice, comfy extra long beds. 

We patched back together the front Formica table. In a perfect world I would have replaced it with new Formica, but we never got to it. 

We replaced the interior propane light with a new, period appropriate fixture. Great for boondocking. 

We installed a new gas / electric 3/4 refrigerator freezer. 

We peeled back the ceiling over the beds to reinforce the structure to support the air conditioning unit. 

Window covering are a gray Atomic print barkcloth fabric with blackout lining throughout. Upholstery is custom seafoam cut velvet with blackout trim. 

Over the years we have been able to find several of the original parts including Avion signage, rotating batwing tv antenna (which works great for over air broadcasts – it is also equipped for cable hookup) and a great original screen door. 

We had a custom awning made for it, which has only been used a couple of times and will be included. 

Tires are recently replaced, clear title and so much more.  The trailer is being offered fully outfitted – 60’s Melmac dishwater, turquoise Club aluminum pots and pans, electric skillet, coffee percolator, plus all linens for beds and baths. 

The one issue with the trailer is that on our last outing the sewer fitting was sheared off pulling out of a steep driveway. I have sourced the correct part and it will come with the trailer, but will need to be installed.  Our asking price is $30,000, but because of the sewer issue we are offering her for $25,000.
