TxT xx934xx221x1690xx. This 1955 Spartan Royal Manor 33′ travel trailer was refurbished between 2022. Work involved fitting a replacement frame, polishing the exterior, installing holding tanks, foam insulation, and a mini-split climate control system, and replacing the windows, wood paneling, flooring, plumbing, electrical system, propane system, appliances, lighting, furniture, brakes, and tongue jack. The layout features a galley, a dinette, a forward lounge with a sofa, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a king mattress. Amenities include a Poly & Bark sofa, a vintage-style refrigerator, a Summit cooktop, power-operated ceiling vents, a Fogatti water heater, and a Vizio flat-screen TV.
Spartan travel trailers were produced by the Spartan Aircraft Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma, between 1945 and 1962, and their designs were influenced by aircraft construction techniques. The aluminum exterior of this example had been painted under prior ownership, and it was stripped and polished during the refurbishment. Additional work involved adding a hinged frame to the rear window opening, installing a single-piece polycarbonate front window, and replacing the side and rear windows, doors, and aluminum skirting. Features include LED taillights, two camp-side entry doors with porthole windows, slide-out boarding steps, and Spartan badging. Some dings are visible on the body panels.
A fabricated replacement frame with tandem axles was fitted during the refurbishment along with 16″ eight-lug steel wheels, 235/80 Trailer King tires, and electrically actuated drum brakes. An air conditioning condenser with an aluminum enclosure is mounted on the tongue, which also has dual propane tanks, a seven-pin trailering electrical connector, and a power-operated tongue jack. Connections for water, waste disposal, and 30-amp electrical service are positioned on the street side.
The interior is outfitted with woodgrain vinyl flooring, white-painted walls, recessed overhead lighting, wall sconces, and residential-style power outlets. A single-piece polycarbonate window is located at the front, and the lounge area is furnished with a Poly & Bark tan leather sofa, two box-cushion seats, a round woodgrain coffee table, and a cowhide area rug.
The galley has woodgrain countertops, gray-painted cabinetry, and a copper sink with a hammered finish as well as a Summit two-burner propane cooktop, a Unique Classic vintage-style refrigerator and freezer, and LED under-cabinet lighting. The dinette features two hinged windows, white cowhide bench seats, and a live-edge black walnut table. A Vizio flat-screen TV is mounted above.
The bedroom houses a Morphis king bed with a Nora foam mattress, and the sleeping surface lifts upward via pneumatic supports for accessing the under-bed open storage. Other features include transom windows, a hinged rear window, and a Jonathan Adler wardrobe. The seller added some privacy film to windows.
The bathroom offers a vanity and sink, upper and lower cabinets, a woodgrain countertop, a Dometic ceramic toilet, and a separate shower room with a stainless-steel surround.
House equipment includes holding tanks, a Senville mini-split climate control system, Maxxair and Fan-Tastic power-operated ceiling vents, and a Fogatti demand-service water heater in addition to dual AGM batteries, a Jarxioke pure sine wave inverter, a LiTime DC-to-DC battery charger, and a GoPower! automatic transfer switch. The seller replaced the fresh water pump.
